I have reserved a day next month to show the "Wereth 11" in the hometown of PFC Jimmie Leathewood in Pontotoc, MS. Joe Small has given me permission to show it in this small town. I hope to involve the local historians, the schools and some re-enactors for a special Memorial Service.

Got the dvd today and viewed it right away...excellent work here. Just toured the Bulge Battlefield this past September and hope to return again soon. Will make this memorial to these fine Americans a must stop. A salute to the film makers of this fine tribute to these men and all who served and fought in WW II. Great to see these film makers honoring these men and bringing notice to the African-American GI who fought in WW II. We will remember them at the going down of the sun !!!!

I am one of the nieces of Robert Leroy Green. We were told that our uncle was killed in the war, but never were we told of the atrocities that he and the other 10 men of his unit suffered. I am waiting for the U.S. Army to honor them as the Belgium people and the family that last saw them alive honored them.

It wasn't until the NatGeo program that I heard of this atrocity. And having occured so near to the Malmedy massacre I feel assamed that I hadn't heard of the Wereth 11. May they rest in peace and their sacrifice better known. Thank you Wereth 11 and your comrades that came home.

I am watching a documentary on the Wereth Eleven on NGEO. I am just appalled and very sad at the brutality of their deaths. I'm also sad that this is the first time that I've EVER heard about this. There is so much that is left out of Black History. Lord bless these men and their descendants.
